Materials
Turn on the flood lights. Make sure that no white light shines through. Observe how much color you can see in the different T-shirts through the different colored lights. Which lights show which colors, and which ones hide more colors.

- different colored T-shirts

1st activity
in a clear glass of water observe how the water looks. Put a pencil into the water, but not fully immersed. Observe how the water changes the image of the water. It looks fatter, or like it bends. Put your hand, or fingers into the water. Watch and observe how you hand looks. Does the water change the way your hand looks. Does your hand feel bigger or like it's bending?
2nd activity
With a large tub of water place the mirror inside. Try to reflect the sun's light through the water and onto a white piece of paper. observe how the light has changed from a white light into different colors. Try to name as many colors as you can. Where did the colors come from? How does water change the sun's light? Does this compare to the hand in the glass of water?
3rd activity
with an old CD try to reflect the sun's light onto a wall. Observe how the light changes. Does it look like a rainbow? How do you think rainbow's are made?
