Class Demonstration
Materials:
Show the class three potted plants. Name each plant. Put one plant in the sun and give it water every day. Put another plant in the sun with no water. Put a third plant away from the sun and give it water. Put a fourth plant away from the sun and don’t give it any water. Every day take pictures of the plants. After a good amount of time has passed then post all the pictures form each plant. You could do a slideshow of each plant, or you could even print them out and make a flip book of each plant. Have the class compare the different plants. Discuss which plant did best. As a class come up with what plants need to survive. Compare this to our own bodies, and what we need to survive.
